Once the Chautauqua season wraps on September 7, Lakeside is open to everyone with no gate pass and no parking pass required. Still ahead this fall: the Murder Mystery Dinner "Last Train Out of Lakeside" (September 11), Praise by the Lake with Chris Byrd and Katy Nichole (September 12–13), and the 30th Lakeside-Marblehead Lighthouse Festival (October 10). September and October nights run well under summer rates, the lake is still warm, the leaves turn along the shore, and the condo stays open all winter. We are steps from Hoover Auditorium, the beach, downtown shops, and the ferry to the lake islands.
About the Condo
Originally built in 1893, the Lakeside Historic Inn has been thoughtfully restored and converted into private condominium residences. Our unit (5/17) retains the period charm — high ceilings, tall windows, hardwood details — with a fully updated kitchen, bathrooms, and air conditioning.
At 502 square feet with 2 beds in the bedroom plus a fold-out sofa sleeper, it comfortably sleeps up to 6 — perfect for couples, small families, or a pair of birding buddies. The 2027 season lineup is announced over the winter.
